Studios are banning staff from betting on Hollywood news after prediction markets opened contracts on Bond casting and earnings
Studios and production companies are telling employees not to bet on prediction markets about their own business, The Hollywood Reporter said on November 5. The warnings cover earnings, casting, release dates and award nominations, and bar passing tips to friends or relatives who bet. One unnamed company set up an anonymous reporting hotline.
