The AP has called both the House and the Senate for Democrats, with at least two Senate races still counting
The Associated Press has called both chambers of Congress for Democrats after Tuesday's midterms. By early Wednesday afternoon Democrats had flipped seven Republican-held Senate seats and more than two dozen House seats, and Republicans had taken none from them, per Spectrum News. Later House tallies run higher. Senate races in Mississippi and Alaska are still uncalled, so the final Senate margin is not yet known.
